Bartosz Kleban (PhD)

Legal adviser – Partner specializing in Intellectual Property Law. He is the author and co-author of numerous academic publications concerning collective management of copyrights and related rights. He is experienced in Civil and Administration Law as well as EU Law. He speaks English.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He gained his PhD at the same faculty and presented his PhD dissertation titled Relations between Right Holder and Collecting Societies in Polish Law. He is the author of numerous articles concerning copyrights published in, e.g. System Prawa Prywatnego series (2013, 2017) and in the series of Zarys Prawa Własności Intelektualnej published by C.H. Beck Publishing House (2010-2011, 2015). He conducts practical trainings on copyrights within EU projects. Since March 2014 he has been an arbitrator at the Copyrights Commission (currently his third term). He also teaches students at Adam Mickiewicz University, at the School of Social Sciences and the Academy of Music in Poznań.

He has been working in Kancelaria since 2003.

He also has many non-legal interests. He was, for example, a permanent co-worker at Autogiełda Wielkopolska (2001-2004) and other magazines such as Mój Opel issued by Polskie Stowarzyszenie Dealerów Opla (Polish Association of Opel Dealers) (2001-2004). He loves technology, especially automotive technologies and he is a fan of rail vehicles and railway. He is also interested in the history of cars and astronomy.
